Zephyrs musters 3 hits, drops 10-0 contest to Emmaus Zephyrs fell 10-0 to Emmaus on Tuesday. Trey Hinkle recorded the win for Emmaus. He pitched five shutout innings. Hinkle struck out six, walked one and gave up three hits. Zachary Gilbert was the game’s losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked two and struck out three. The game’s last lead went to Emmaus thanks to a first inning rally that saw two runs cross the plate on a groundout by Lukas Wieder and an RBI single by Hinkle. Emmaus increased its lead with four runs in the fourth. Teddy Tucker‘s single got things going, bringing home Alex Marsh. Great day for Baseball in Jersey City hands Zephs shut out loss to STPP.

Zephyrs falls 6-0 to St. Peter’s Prep┬ádespite Gianni Sinatore‘s effort Zephyrs fell 6-0 to St. Peter’s Prep on Sunday. Matt Ziminsky handled St. Peter’s Prep’s lineup with ease, racking up three strikeouts. Ziminsky allowed three earned runs, five hits and one walk over four innings. Corey Caddle got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He pitched six shutout innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered two hits. Caddle, Mike Marino and Andrew D’Avella helped lead St. Peter’s Prep. They combined for six hits and three RBIs. Ziminsky ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. St. Peter’s Prep increased its lead with three runs in the fifth. Dan Cooney‘s single got things going, bringing home Antonio Velardi. Jacob Meyers did his best to jumpstart the offense for Zephyrs, reaching base three times. He singled in the third and eighth innings. Jacob Meyers handled Parkland‘s lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Jacob Meyers allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks over 7 1/3 innings. Connor Higgins got the win in relief for Parkland. Higgins pitched two innings and allowed no runs. Jacob Meyers took the loss for Zephyrs. Northampton falls 10-0 at the hands of Zephyrs Zephyrs beat Northampton on Wednesday 10-0 in five innings.
